Silent Type Generator Set
2.1 The silent type generator set is a specialized power generation unit developed on the basis of a conventional open-type generator set, equipped with a soundproof enclosure and supporting noise-reduction systems. It is mainly used in noise-sensitive environments such as hospitals, residential areas, commercial centers, and outdoor events, combining reliable power generation with low-noise operation.
2.2 The enclosure adopts a multi-layer composite structure. The outer layer is made of anti-rust steel plates, while the inner side is fitted with high-density sound insulation cotton and sound-absorbing panels. The enclosure is designed with silenced air inlet and outlet openings and equipped with an impedance composite muffler to significantly reduce intake and exhaust noise. In addition, anti-vibration rubber pads are installed to minimize vibration transmission during generator operation.
2.3 The unit is equipped with a built-in large-capacity fuel tank to support long-term continuous operation. It is fitted with a forced air-cooling or water-cooling system to prevent overheating caused by the enclosed structure. An integrated intelligent control system enables automatic start/stop, remote monitoring, and fault alarm functions. Some models are also equipped with silent maintenance doors for convenient servicing and operation.
2.4 The enclosure protection rating is IP54, providing protection against dust and rain and making it suitable for outdoor installation.
2.5 Under normal ambient temperature conditions, the radiator must be rated for 50°C cooling capacity.
2.6 Other requirements for the generator set are the same as those for the open-type generator set.
