The explosion-proof sludge coil dryer utilizes alternating large and small drying trays, each tray is equipped with a cross-shaped raking arm mounted on the main shaft , incorporating multiple adjustable rotary rakes. The hollow drying trays allow heating medium to flow through their internal channels. During operation, the shaft and raking arms are driven by an explosion-proof motor via a gear reducer, enabling slow rotation with rakes moving across the tray surfaces.
The wet material is continuously fed by an explosion-proof pump onto the inner edge of the top drying tray. The raking arms, driven by the explosion-proof motor, rotate with the main shaft to stir the material. Material flows along a logarithmic spiral across the tray surface, falling from the outer edge to the lower large tray, on large trays, material moves inward and drops through the central opening to the next small tray, this top-to-bottom movement continues through all trays.
Dried product collects at the bottom discharge port while liberated moisture vents through the overhead exhaust. Integrated steam heating circuits, solvent recovery condensers, bag filters, and induced draft fans enhance drying capacity for paste-like and heat-sensitive materials, with concurrent solvent reclamation.
