
The DAF system features a carbon steel/stainless steel construction comprising these key components:
1. The steel-constructed flotation tank serves as the core treatment component of the wastewater processing system.This integrated unit features strategically positioned release manifolds in the front-end flotation zone - the critical micro-bubble generation point - along with effluent discharge piping, sludge collection mechanisms, and skimmer drive systems to achieve efficient solid-liquid separation. The saturated water from the pressure dissolution tank thoroughly mixes with the wastewater in this zone. Through instantaneous pressure release, it generates 20-80μm micro-bubbles that adhere to the flocculated particles in the wastewater. This bubble attachment reduces the overall density of the flocculants, causing them to float upward while achieving complete separation of clarified water. The clarified water collection system features uniformly distributed outlet pipes at the tank bottom, connected to a vertical standpipe that overflows at the top. The overflow weir incorporates an adjustable water level control mechanism for precise tank level regulation. The sludge discharge pipe is installed at the bottom of the tank to remove settled sediments. At the top section of the tank, a sludge collection trough is equipped with continuously rotating scraper blades that systematically remove floating sludge into the trough, where it flows by gravity to the sludge holding tank.
2、Dissolved Air System:
The dissolved air system primarily consists of an air dissolution tank, air storage tank, air compressor, and high-pressure pump. The inclusion of specific components such as the air storage tank, compressor, and high-pressure pump depends on the overall system design requirements. For dissolved air flotation (DAF) units with processing capacities below 100 m³/h, an air dissolving pump is typically employed as the standard configuration. This design approach is determined by both influent water characteristics and hydraulic loading requirements, while maintaining optimal cost efficiency for small-to-medium scale operations.As the core component of the system, the air dissolution tank facilitates optimal contact between water and air to accelerate gas dissolution. This pressurized steel vessel features an engineered internal configuration incorporating baffle plates, separation sleeves, and ejector nozzles - all designed to enhance fluid dynamics and mass transfer efficiency. The specialized construction maximizes air-to-water diffusion rates while maintaining structural integrity.
