Working Principle of Hydraulic Cyclone Separator:
Water enters the device (cylindrical structure or metallic pipe) through a tangential inlet at the top due to pressure or gravity. Under the influence of centrifugal force, heavier particles are thrown against the wall of the device and spiral downward, eventually being discharged along with the concentrated slurry. Smaller particles, after rotating to a certain extent, are carried away by the secondary upward vortex flow.
